Week 3- Object Oriented Programming
Week 3 in the course was all about object oriented programming. Coming into csc148, csc108 had provided me with some insight on what exactly object oriented programming. But due to the sudden exposure to this new style of programming and the winter break, most of it had been forgotten by me. Object oriented programming was reviewed slightly by myself before starting the class and the lectures served as reminders as to what I had to do. However, going into my first tutorial, I realized that there is still much more I had to review to be caught up. Thus, I have worked hard to try and understand object oriented programming better with more understandings to methods, classes and objects. The exercise this that was due last week had to do with object oriented programming and since I am rather weak in that subject, it took a lot of time and heavy analysis. What I enjoyed most about this week was the various built in functions that already exist inside python making it such a fascinating language to learn. Another great improvement is the fact that my partner and I from the first tutorial were unable to complete the first tutorial and struggled on it. We however went home and reviewed our concepts going into our second tutorial. This time, we were able to finish early with no difficulty. Thus I learned about object oriented programming with stacks as well as made new friends who I can learn from.
